Our History Country Road Log Home's founder, Garland Faw, is one of the pioneers of the modern log home
industry. In fact, much of what is being done in the industry today was introduced by Mr. Faw. In 1977, Mr. Faw founded Lincoln Log Homes which soon became the largest log home
network in the world. To address one of the most critical shortcomings in the log home, air filtration due to the shrinking
of the logs after construction, he developed technology that allowed the home owner to tighten the total log wall at any point
of time after construction of the house. In the January 1982 issue of "Mechanics Illustrated" the Country Road Log Home Construction
